Vitória Sport Clube, the historic club from the city of Guimarães that plays in the Portuguese Primeira Liga, and Macron, the Hero company, have presented the new ‘Home’ jersey that the ‘Conquistadores’ will wear in the next season. A jersey that adds to the club’s colours and tradition the pride of representing the city where the great Portuguese nation was born.
The new ‘Home’ shirt, with a mandarin collar, is white with black details around the collar and on the sleeve edges. The backneck is personalised with the club’s colours and crest, while the back of the collar features the acronym VSC (Vitória Sport Clube) in black and embossed graphics. On the chest, on the right, in silicone, is applied the Macron Hero, while the emblem of Vitória SC is on the heart side.
Graphic details referring to the history of Guimarães, the city in the north of the country that the Portuguese consider the place where their nation was born, enrich the shirt.
The figure of D. Afonso Henriques, the first independent king of Portugal, is also present in the team crest. A history of being proud of, which is why the words AQUI NASCEU PORTUGAL appear on the jersey, in the centre of the chest, in tone-on-tone embossed graphics, while the rest of the jersey, in tone-on-tone sublimation printing, features a drawing of part of a gateway to Guimarães Castle. White shorts complete the home kit with black bands on the sides and around the thigh edge. The socks are white with a black upper border.
The “Away” version is total black and ‘tells’ the history of the club itself with embossed graphics, tone on tone, all over the front body of the jersey that show the acronym VSC and 1922, the year the Lusitanian team foundation. The collar is a knitted polo shirt, as are the sleeve edges. The backneck is personalised as in the Home shirt and also features the VSC acronym in embossed graphics. The shorts are black with white drawstrings, and the socks are black with a white horizontal band under the upper edge.
The fit of both jerseys is Slim Fit, the main fabric is Softlock, and the presence of micromesh inserts ensures the garment is perfectly breathable.
