Mohammedan Sporting Club spilled their nerves in the second half to be handed a 0-4 thrashing by Real Kashmir FC at the Saltlake Stadium in the semifinals of the ongoing 123rd IFA Shield.
After a barren first-half, Real Kashmir FC shifted gears to score at regular intervals, slicing open the Mohammedan Sporting defence with their incisive brand of football.
Lukman scored for the Snow Leopards in the 59th, 66th and the 87th minutes to register his hattrick before teammate Mason Robertson scored in the dying seconds to blank out Mohammedan Sporting who went into the tournament as odds-on-favourites.
Unsurprisingly Lukman was named the Man of the Match,. When asked about his feeling, Lukman said, “It is a great feeling, we have kept the winning streak going and we are in the final. Hope we can win this. The team looks good at the moment.”
Real Kashmir FC, now the favourites to win the 123rd IFA Shield, will face George Telegraph SC on Saturday, December 19 in the final.
