Mumbai City have announce that EA FC pro Siddh ‘Jenasid’ Chandarana has signed a two-year contract extension with the Islanders, until the end of the 2024-25 season.
Jenasid joined Mumbai City in 2021 and formed one half of the club’s first ever eSports roster. In the two years since, the 23-year-old from Mumbai has gone on to make great strides as one of India’s top EA Sports FIFA (now EA FC) athletes. In his debut season with the Islanders, Siddh finished as the runner up in South Asia in the FIFA Global Series 2022. A top spot in India and a third place finish in South Asia followed in the FGS 2023 season as Siddh and the Islanders sealed qualification in the FGS23 South Asia Play-Ins.
Siddh’s sublime form continued with the Indian National Team as the Mumbai boy created history with the eTigers after winning the Asia and Oceania Playoffs at the FIFAe Nations. Jenasid, along with his eTigers’ teammates, qualified for successive FIFAe Nations Cups in Denmark in 2022 and Saudi Arabia in 2023.
Having extended his stay with his hometown club, Siddh will represent the Islanders in the new-look EA FC Pro Ladder and EA FC Cup tournaments as well as in the eISL.
