Kalyan Chaubey on Friday, September 2 was elected as the new president of the All India Football Federation.
Shortly after being elected, he spoke to NDTV and said: “It is a wonderful feeling but I have no individual credit that I can claim. You can see, it is a collective effort and this team has been fighting a long legal battle in the Supreme Court. This team has been fighting for the last 19 months or so, I am lucky to have this team. I believe that every state association should have their office space. My priority is to take Indian football ahead, we will take it forward.”
