Tottenham Hotspur have announced that Luca Gunter has signed a new contract with the Club that will run until summer 2025.
The 18-year-old goalkeeper joined the Tottenham Hotspur Academy at the age of 12 and has enjoyed a terrific season as captain of their Under-18s this term, almost ever-present in all competitions and leading the team to both the Under-18 and Under-17 Premier League Cup finals, lifting the trophy in the latter after an excellent victory over Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Wednesday evening. The Under-18 final is still to come against Aston Villa at Villa Park on May 4.
In addition to his 24 appearances in all competitions for the Under-18s this season, Luca also made his Under-21s debut against Fulham FC in March and played three times in the Under-19 UEFA Youth League during the first half of the campaign.
On the international stage, Luca has been capped by England at every level between Under-15 and Under-18 to date.
