Indian Super League franchise NorthEast United FC have announced the contract extension of striker Lalkhawpuimawia ahead of the 2021/22 season.
29 year old Mizoram-born Lalkhawpuimawia, also known as Mapuia, played football locally before making it to the Mizoram Premier League, where he played for Chhinga Veng FC.
