The Odisha FC Women’s team have announced the signing of India Women’s international striker Pyari Xaxa ahead of the new season.
25 year old Pyari Xaxa was born in Jhartarang in Sundergarh district of Odisha. At a young age she played for Kunwarmunda.
At senior level, she played for local Odia side Rising Student Club before playing for Odisha Police and Odisha Sports. She has been a regular in the Indian Women’s League, a potent striker for her club sides.
Odisha FC president Raj Athwal said, “We are thrilled with Pyari joining us at OFC Women for the coming season. With Pyari, the club has secured an important player not just for the team but for all the girls in Odisha who have a young icon to aspire to. We are excited by the prospect of her playing for OFC Women and wish her all the best.”
