Kolkata giants Mohammedan Sporting Club have announced the signing of defender Sebastian Thangmuansang on loan from Odisha FC for the remainder of the 2022/23 season.
24 year old Sebastian Thangmuansang, who was born in Churachandpur in Manipur, played locally in his state before joining the Pune FC Academy which later on became that of FC Pune City.
Sebastian Thangmuansang made it up to the FC Pune City B team before spending time on loan with Chennai City FC. He moved back to his native Manipur to join NEROCA FC in 2019. After impressing there, Sebastian Thangmuansang moved to Gokulam Kerala FC and in his second with the Malabarians, he won the I-League title.
In 2021, Sebastian Thangmuansang moved to Odisha FC and over the last one and a half years, he had limited playing time with the Juggernauts. Now he moves back to the I-League and there the Black Panthers will hope he can add strength and quality to their back-line.
