Winger Thorgan Hazard will spend the rest of the season on loan with PSV Eindhoven. The Belgian, who has earned 47 caps for his country, is PSV’s second January signing.
The 29-year-old Thorgan Hazard represented Belgium at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Thorgan is very pleased to have made a move to PSV Eindhoven. “It is a fine club with a fine shirt.” The attacker is looking forward to competing on three fronts. “PSV are Eredivisie title contenders, they are in the round of 16 in the TOTO KNVB Cup and still play in a European competition. I am very much looking forward to playing these big games,” said Thorgan.
PSV Eindhoven general manager Marcel Brands hails Thorgan Hazard’s loan signing from Borussia Dortmund. “Thorgan is a versatile player who can be deployed in multiple positions up front. And he brings a lot of international experience”, said Brands after Hazard had put pen to paper on his loan deal on the winter transfer deadline day. Thorgan Hazard has scored 85 goals and provided 95 assists in 411 matches as a professional football player.”
