I-League side Rajasthan United FC have announced the signing of Ivory Coast striker Leonce Dodoz for the remainder of the 2022/23 season.
Born in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), 30 year old Léonce Dodoz Zikahi started his career at Ivorian top tier club JC Abidjan, before moving to Nepal in 2012 with Friends Club. Dodoz joined Three Star Club the next season and won the Nepal Football League in his debut season with the club. In 2014 Dodoz switched allegiance to another Nepalese outfit Manang Marshyangdi Club. Dodoz also has the experience of playing in the Vietnamese V-League.
Then Leonce Dodoz moved to India to play for Gangtok Himalayan SC in the Second Division League and there Dodoz showed excellent form and finished as the team’s top scorer in the final round of the Second Division League, which included three goals against Mohammedan Sporting over the two legs.
Thereafter Mohammedan Sporting signed him for whom he played in the Calcutta Football League and then Leonce Dodoz played for Aizawl FC rivals Chanmari FC and with them won the Mizoram Premier League before thereafter rejoining Mohammedan Sporting Club for their Second Division League campaign.
Leonce Dodoz played for Peerless SC in the 2017 Calcutta Football League – Premier Division ‘A’ before making a move to Aizawl FC before the start of the 2017/18 I-League.
Thereafter he continued to play for numerous clubs with a return to Mohammedan Sporting, Bhowanipore FC playing in South Africa to play for Free State Stars before playing for Behala SS Sporting Club in Kolkata and then SC Gagnoa and ES Bafing in his native Ivory Coast.
Now Leonce Dodoz returns to India to join Rajasthan United FC.
