SL Benfica and adidas have announced the renewal of their contract for another six years, extending it until summer 2027. This is one of the longest partnerships in the world of football, with the Glorioso and the German brand consolidating a relationship of more than three decades (seasons 1983/84 – 1989/90 and 1997/98 – 2026/27).
“Benfica and adidas already have a long and strong relationship based on commitment, innovation, and excellence. Therefore, it is natural to renew the partnership for another six years between two entities with a global dimension. The launch of the new jerseys, home and away, for the 2021/22 season was the moment strategically chosen by the two brands to communicate the extension of their relationship for another six years.
“We are all Benfica. United” is the message of the campaign that, at the launch of the jersey, counts with the participation of the Benfica players Pizzi, Grimaldo, Taarabt, Paulo Bernardo, Morato, Henrique Araújo, Tiago Araújo, João Ferreira, Otamendi, Weigl and Chiquinho.
