Soccerex to bring new soccer business event to Miami in the USA!

Soccerex, the global leaders for the business of soccer, have announced they will be hosting a new event, Soccerex USA, in Miami on November 15/16, 2018. The event is sponsored by the London Football Exchange (LFE).

Taking place at Marlin’s Park, the home of the Miami Marlins Major League Baseball franchise, Soccerex USA will connect the global soccer community for two days of insight, networking and business in this important soccer city which is home to the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) head office and which was recently confirmed as the home for MLS’s 25th franchise. In 2017, Soccerex and CONCACAF announced a two-year institutional partnership that provides further opportunities to engage with the global football community.

This new event,in one of the world’s fastest growing, most innovative soccer markets will see LFE as Title Sponsors for the second successive Soccerex event following their sponsorship of the hugely successful Soccerex China event earlier this month. LFE is the world’s first fully integrated soccer club stock exchange and marketplace and is the creation of pioneering finance experts who are using cutting-edge blockchain technology to revolutionise the way soccer clubs and fans transact. The team behind LFE will be using the Miami event to showcase their offering to the global soccer industry.

Soccerex USA will be hosted in partnership with General American Capital Partners. The two day event will comprise an exhibition showcasing the latest soccer business, performance and technology innovations. It will include a programme of structured and informal networking events to connect the delegates from across the USA and the rest of the world and it will feature a market leading conference agenda, with international experts tacking topics such as league expansion, women’s soccer, youth development, eSports, stadia technology and investment.

The event’s programme is being developed in collaboration with an advisory board of key industry stakeholders that will include representatives from the local community including US Soccer. Among the first names confirmed are, Adolfo Bara, Managing Director, Sales & Marketing, LaLiga and David Dein, founding member of the English Premier League.

Commenting on the event announcement, Soccerex COO, Rita Revie said, “I am so thrilled to be bringing Soccerex back to the US. We held a forum in Los Angeles nearly 20 years ago alongside the FIFA Women’s World Cup and to now be returning to a country that has experienced such growth in its soccer market is fantastic for Soccerex. I want to thank General American Capital Partners and the London Football Exchange for making this possible and I look forward to working with them and the whole soccer community, in making Soccerex USA an important milestone for soccer in the Americas.”
