Global automotive giant Tata Motors has associated as Jamshedpur FC’s Official Automobile Partner for the upcoming football season.
The association will see Jamshedpur FC promote two Tata Motors’ products – premium hatchback, the Tata Altroz and the Prima – premium and tough commercial vehicle platform – during the Indian Super League (ISL) 2020-21.
Tata Motors has a rich history of associations with various sports properties and brands across the globe. The Gold Standard of premium hatchbacks, Altroz, was also the official partner in the Indian Premier League 2020 that concluded recently. The multi-national company was also a partner with Jamshedpur FC in the club’s debut season in the ISL.
Commenting on this association, Vivek Srivatsa, Head, Marketing Passenger Vehicle Business Unit (PVBU), Tata Motors, said, “In our constant endeavor to encourage sporting events across the country, we are delighted to be partnering with the Jamshedpur Football Club for the Indian Super League 2020-21 as their official automobile partner. We are excited and proud to showcase our latest premium hatchback, the Tata Altroz to all residents of Jamshedpur. Much like the Altroz, which has set Gold Standards in every sphere, we are confident that the players of Jamshedpur FC will make us proud in this tournament. We wish all the players the very best and hope that through this association, we will be able to instill a sense of enthusiasm among the viewers and players alike.”
Rajesh Kaul, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Commercial Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors, said, “We’re delighted and proud to be associated with Jamshedpur FC with our most premium brand – the Prima. The Prima is our flagship platform for commercial vehicles and has set new benchmarks in comfort, style and safety, and is the perfect reverberation of the game with its strong, agile and resilient characteristics. Jamshedpur is Tata Motors’ home turf and we wish the club all the success for the upcoming season.”
The deal will see the Tata Altroz logo visible on the Jamshedpur FC jersey along with various other sponsors during the ISL season.
Jamshedpur FC Chief Executive Officer Mukul Choudhari was delighted to have the country’s biggest automotive manufacturer as an official partner, as he said, “To have a world-renowned brand like Tata Motors helping scale up our efforts in developing football in India is a big motivator. We look forward to working closely with them to develop new ideas and engaging projects focused at football fans in Jharkhand as well as India along with the wider football community.”
