Following the withdrawal of Chinese Taipei as host of the AFC Cup 2022 Group J matches, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has today confirmed that the East Zone centralised ties will now be held in Buriram, Thailand.
Group J will be headlined by MUST CPK of Macau, Hong Kong sides Eastern Long Lions and Lee Man as well as Chinese Taipei’s Tainan City FC and will take place as scheduled from June 24 to 30, 2022.
The decision brings to a close the host selection process for the AFC Cup 2022 Group Stage following the earlier announcements on February 24 and March 4, 2022.
