VIDEO: PUMA & Daily Paper Celebrate PUMA’s 20th Year Partnership with African Football!

The Autumn-Winter ‘17 PUMA x Daily Paper Collection celebrates the 20th anniversary of PUMA’s ongoing partnership with African Football featuring archive African team kit-inspired designs. For the collection launch, PUMA and Daily Paper appropriated funds towards the development of football in Ghana in cooperation with PUMA partner, Right to Play. PUMA have been a partner of the Ghana Football Association since 2005; Ghana is also the motherland of one of the Daily Paper founders.

A brand new football pitch was built at the Accra Senior Girls School in Ghana in what was once a dumping ground. The pitch comes fully-kitted with changing facilities, dug-outs and spectator seating; the home team was also equipped with football gear and equipment. The pitch will not only serve the school but other communities in Accra, supporting the development of the sport amongst young footballers and empowering them for the future.

The film was entirely shot in Ghana and features the Daily Paper crew Hussein Suleiman, Abderrahmane Trabsini & Jefferson Osei, goalkeeper for the Ghana Black Stars Richard Ofori, French Afro-Trap rapper MHD, and representatives from Right To Play and the Accra Senior Girls High School.
