Bayern Munich and Allianz extend partnership until 2033!

FC Bayern Munich and its long-standing partner Allianz have extended their cooperation by another 10 years until 2033. The Munich-based insurance company has been by the German record champions’ side since 2000, most visibly as the naming rights sponsor of the Allianz Arena and the shirt sponsor of the women’s team.

Oliver Kahn, FC Bayern CEO, said, “FC Bayern places great value on reliable, continual partnerships. We’re therefore very happy to continue our cooperation with Allianz. We can look back on a joint success story of over 20 years, to which we want to add more chapters with new and innovative ideas.”

Andreas Jung, FC Bayern board member for marketing, said, “Allianz is a Munich company that operates globally, and that people around the world associate with the FC Bayern stadium. In the future we will press ahead with the expansion of the partnership with our women’s team and implement projects in youth development, among other things.”

Christian Deuringer, Head of Global Brand & Marketing at Allianz SE, said, “FC Bayern and Allianz have enjoyed a successful and trustful partnership for over 20 years, which has grown from the naming of the Allianz Arena to the men’s, women’s and youth teams and increasingly into the digital and social media spheres. Thanks to FC Bayern’s huge reach and inspiring content, we reach many millions of fans around the world.”

The Allianz company name has adorned the unique, world-famous façade of the German record champions’ stadium since its opening in 2005. In addition, the group has been the shirt sponsor of the women’s team since 2013 and accompanied the Women’s Tour as the official partner. In the future, Allianz will continue to work with FC Bayern to promote young footballers at the Allianz Junior Football Camps at Säbener Straße and the FC Bayern Campus. The Reds’ first team squad is also presented at the Arena every summer at the Allianz FC Bayern Team Presentation.

In order to strengthen the financial skills of young professional female athletes, Allianz is introducing the first individual and free financial coaching course for ambitious female athletes aged 18 to 22 for the 2023/2024 season. The coaching sessions can be booked online at allianz.com. Among others, the FC Bayern women’s team will benefit from the advice, receiving permanent access to an individual financial coach. There are also plans to expand to other sports and professions later on.
