Indian Super League franchise Mumbai City FC today announced that Brazilian Gerson Vieira would be returning to them for ISL-4.
The 24-year-old Porto Alegre-born Gerson Fraga Vieira has shared the field with legendary Brazilian players including Neymar to gain 14 caps for the Brazil Under-17 team. He also had appeared in the 2009 FIFA Under-17 World Cup.
Gerson Vieira showed last season at Mumbai City FC his defensive skills alongside energetic performances. He has played for home town club Gremio Porto Alegre besides Oeste FC and Red Bull Brasil in his native country besides Club Atlético Atenas in Uruguay.
Under Mumbai City FC head coach Alexandre Guimaraes, Gerson will hope to lift the ISL title in season 4.
