Having played for Mumbai City FC last year as well, he is eager to help the club reach the playoffs this year.
The 22-year-old Albino Gomes is a promising young goalkeeper having represented India at the Under-23, U-19 and U-16 levels. Commenting on the selection, Mumbai City FC CEO Indranil Das Blah said, “Leo Costa is a great attacking asset. He is an exciting talent and has a lot of playing time under his belt in some of the most competitive international leagues, which is a testimony to his skill. We are also excited to welcome back Ashutosh Mehta and Albino Gomes to the team. They are both young, hungry and extremely talented. We had a great experience with them last season and had ever since been quite sure about re-signing them for season 3.”
