Now that Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig have qualified for the final of the DFB-Pokal (Thursday, May 13), the DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga has postponed the two clubs’ Bundesliga matches on Matchday 33, previously scheduled for Saturday, May 15, by one day to Sunday, May 16. Dortmund will play 1.FSV Mainz 05 at 6pm CEST. Leipzig will meet VfL Wolfsburg at 8:30pm CEST.
As announced on March 25, the move has been made to allow both teams sufficient recovery time after the DFB-Pokal final.
A new date has also been announced for a postponed match in Bundesliga 2: Holstein Kiel will host SSV Jahn Regensburg at 3:30pm CEST on Thursday, May 13, which is a holiday in Germany.
