JAKO launch new VfB Stuttgart away kit for the 2022/23 season!

The new VfB Stuttgart away kit for the 2022/23 season is based on the 1997/98 and 1998/99 seasons, when Krassimir Balakov, Fredi Bobic, Frank Verlaat and Co. once wore the chest ring kit.

Some fans still remember the legendary 4:3 come-from-behind win over Schalke 04 on matchday 30 in 1997/98 – others think of Krassimir Balakov’s 55 Bundesliga goals or Fredi Bobic’s 57 Bundesliga goals in the 1997/98 and 1998/99 seasons. Special memories that have all been incorporated into the red and black design of the new away kit.

In addition to the distinctive collar, the horizontal red and black stripes of the former away kit have been taken up. If you look closely, you will discover the VfB crests incorporated into the pattern, which shimmer out depending on the incidence of light. The matching shorts are in plain black, while the socks are in classic red and white.

As with the new home jersey, VfB, together with kit supplier JAKO, has not compromised on the material. The new away jerseys are also manufactured in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner using 100 percent recycled polyester
