VfB Stuttgart have reached an agreement with NordVPN, one of the world’s leading VPN providers, to become a business partner with the club.
As part of the partnership, NordVPN will present the team line-ups on VfB’s social media platforms. Furthermore, in line with the focus of the company, which was founded in Vilnius in 2012, other advertising services are also primarily digital – both on social media channels and in the VfB app.
Rouven Kasper, VfB board member for marketing and sales, said, “NordVPN is a growing, very exciting company from the digital economy. The fact that VfB are now becoming NordVPN’s first partner in Germany, after numerous clubs in the UK market, is a strong signal. We look forward to what we hope will be a long and mutually successful relationship.”
An additional aim of this partnership is to inform fans about the potential risks of using unsecured networks, and the importance of an encrypted internet connection to ensure their own online safety.
