PUMA sign Spain & Borussia Dortmund defender Marc Bartra!

German sportswear brand PUMA has signed an endorsement deal with Spanish international and Borussia Dortmund defender Marc Bartra.

The 25 year old Sant Jaume dels Domenys (Catalonia) born Marc Bartra will be wearing PUMA made EvoPower boots, like he did last night in the UEFA Champions League match against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu, while also being part of the brands BVB-based campaigns alongside teammate Marco Reus

Johan Adamsson, global director of sports marketing at PUMA, said, “Marc Bartra was an excellent signing for Borussia Dortmund in June, and he’ll be an equally important ambassador to PUMA. He will help drive our retail business in both performance footwear along with BVB licensed product, and we look forward to working with him in the seasons ahead.”

Meanwhile Marc Bartra said, “Moving to Dortmund this year was a fantastic move for me, and gave me a great insight into PUMA through the partnership they have with BVB. I like their approach to football – to both product development and marketing, and they have some exciting things in the months ahead that I’m looking forward to being involved in.”
