PUMA Unveil Arsenal Away & Third Kits during USA Tour !

PUMA revealed the Arsenal Away and Third kits for the 2016/17 season Friday, July 29 night at a star studded event in Los Angeles. Gunners’ fan Jamie Foxx stirred up the crowd as PUMA players Santi Cazorla, Héctor Bellerín and Nacho Monreal presented the kits to an audience of Hollywood celebrities and fans in a recreation of the ‘We are THE Arsenal’ campaign.

Designed in the iconic Arsenal Away yellow rounded off by gunmetal grey details, PUMA has created a traditional kit that celebrates the club’s rich history. Featuring Jacquard pinstripes, the yellow shirt has a unique tailored look and a grey fold over collar with yellow stripe detail and grey sleeves complimented by a yellow PUMA Form Stripe. Rounding out the design, the shirt features the PUMA Cat and Arsenal Badge logo on the front, with a subtly placed Gunner’s cannon on the back neck area.

Taking inspiration from the club’s constant drive to look to the future, PUMA has introduced a contrasting, contemporary third kit with an ultra-modern look and feel. Designed in a dark blue hue, the kit is complemented with bright injections of safety yellow in the PUMA Form Stripe along the sleeves and cuffs. Dark blue shorts have the same yellow detailing with block yellow coloured socks completing the look. Finishing off the overall design, carbon surface sublimated sleeve inserts on the shirt provide a futuristic look.

Nacho Monreal, PUMA evoSPEED player and Arsenal’s star left back said; “It’s always nice to meet our fans wherever we travel, it’s clear to see they have such passion for Arsenal no matter how far away from us they are. We enjoy these events that brings us closer to them, and it’s an opportunity to thank them for their support. The new kits are very nice, we’re looking forward to wearing them this season.”
