Double I-League champions Gokulam Kerala FC have announced that Vincenzo Alberto Annese is leaving the club after two very successful seasons.
Italian Vincenzo Alberto Annese coach joined the Malabarians after successful stints in a slew of countries, including Malaysia, Belize, Ghana, and Palestine. During his first campaign with the Malabarians, he implemented a distinctive attacking style of football that eventually helped the club to win the I-League championship.
This was followed by a second title in the just concluded 2021/22 season and an incredible 21 game unbeaten run.
Thereafter Gokulam Kerala FC made their AFC Cup in which they scored a historic win over Indian Super League side ATK Mohun Bagan at the continental level.
