For the second consecutive year, LaLiga and EA SPORTS are launching the Team Of The Season (TOTS) awards with the aim of recognising the most impressive goalkeeper, the 4 best defenders, the 3 most outstanding midfielders and the 3 top forwards in LaLiga. In addition, the next 4 players with the most votes will be honoured too to complete a list of the 15 best players of the LaLiga Santander season.
The voting process to select these 15 best players of the season will be the same as it was last year: the winners will be chosen via a mix of popular vote, the selections of LaLiga Santander players and the picks of a panel of experts.
The 47 players nominated for this honour will be announced on May 1 at 17:00h CEST during a talk show that can be followed via LaLiga’s social media profiles (YouTube, Twitch, TikTok and Facebook).
At this event, through conversations involving well-known faces from the video game and different football personalities, all the nominees will be revealed position by position: goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and forwards. The talk show will be presented by Espe, while DjMariio, Vituber and Álvaro Benito will lead the discussion panel, interacting with other speakers such as Miguel Ángel Román, Antoni Daimiel, Alba Ontiveros, and Joan Capdevila.
