Juventus FC sack their head coach Maurizio Sarri!

After last nights exit from the UEFA Champions League against Olympique Lyonnais, Juventus FC today announced that Maurizio Sarri has been relieved of his post as head coach of the First Team.

The club would like to thank the coach for having written a new page in Juventus’ history with the victory of the ninth-consecutive Serie A championship, the culmination of a personal journey that led him to climb all the divisions of Italian football.

61 year old Maurizio Sarri was only appointed last summer on a three-year contract after a one year stint with Premier League side Chelsea FC having coached SSC Napoli before that but he coudn’t convince the Juve management that he should have another shot at the European crown next season.
