Earlier today the latest FIFA Women’s World Ranking were released by the world football governing body and in the second rankings of 2023, India move up a spot to 60th position behind Croatia, but ahead of Iran.
India have 1,414 points, 22 points more than in the last quarter and stay in 11th position in the Asian (AFC) Women’s rankings.
The next matches of the India Women’s are currently unknown.
In South Asia, India remain in top spot ahead of Nepal (101st), Bangladesh (140th), Sri Lanka (154th), Pakistan (157th), the Maldives (160th) and Bhutan (171st).
There was no change in the top 5. The 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup winners United States (2,090 pts) stay top spot ahead of UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 finalists Germany (2,062 pts), Sweden (2,050 pts), UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 champions England (2,041 pts) and France (2,027 pts) complete the top five.
