ELCLASICO is undoubtedly a match that draws one of the largest audiences in the world. One of the key reasons behind this is the joint promotion carried out by LALIGA with the competition’s international broadcasters.
Ahead of the encounter between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, 24 networks spanning 77 countries launched their LALIGA EPICS contests with questions such as “ElClasico Xpert”, “Guess the player” and “Predict the result”. Thanks to the promotion of the campaign on their social media accounts and sports programmes, international fans managed to snag shirts of both teams and the special ELCLASICO ball.
Additionally, on this occasion, we were able to send many of the broadcasters exclusive gift boxes with the ball created to mark ELCLASICO along with creative materials specifically designed for the event. They made the most of these resources to put the ball in front of the cameras and urge their viewers to watch the game and take part in #LALIGAEPICS.
