CONCACAF announces groups & match schedule for 2023 CONCACAF Boys’ U-15 Championship!

CONCACAF has confirmed the 2023 CONCACAF Boys’ U-15 Championship groups and match schedule. The fourth edition of the competition, which includes the participation of 39 CONCACAF Member Associations and two guest nations from the Asian Football Confederation, takes place in Curaçao and the Dominican Republic between August 6-13, 2023.

The competition is played in a three-League format (A, B, and C), starting with group stage play and followed by a knockout stage. The 41 participating teams were distributed into the Leagues based on the CONCACAF Men’s Under-17 Ranking as of February 2023 and sub-divided into groups as follows:

League A: 16 teams (14 highest ranked and two guest nations)

Group A: Mexico, Jamaica, El Salvador, Saudi Arabia

Group B: United States, Haiti, Cuba, Qatar

Group C: Canada, Panama, Guatemala, Dominican Republic

Group D: Honduras, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago

League B: 16 teams (next highest ranked teams)

Group E: Nicaragua, Suriname, Martinique, Grenada

Group F: Guadeloupe, Guyana, Barbados, Saint Lucia

Group G: Bermuda, Aruba, Cayman Islands, Belize

Group H: Curaçao, Bonaire, Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Kitts and Nevis

League C 9 teams (lowest ranked teams)

Group I: British Virgin Islands, Dominica, Turks and Caicos Islands

Group J: Sint Maarten, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, US Virgin Islands

Group K: French Guiana, Aguilla, Saint Martin

All League A and C matches will take place in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, while Willemstad, Curaçao, will play host to League B.

The last edition of the CONCACAF Boys’ U-15 Championship took place in 2019 at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. In 2021 the competition was canceled due to the COVID-19 global pandemic.
