The Eastern Dragons have been drawn in Group B of the Super Cup. Aizawl FC confirmed their spot as the fourth team in the group by beating TRAU FC in the qualifiers besides Odisha FC, East Bengal FC and Hyderabad FC.

East Bengal FC
Struggling to find consistency since their induction in the ISL, East Bengal FC roped in former Indian Football Team head coach Stephen Constantine to lead the Red & Gold Brigade. The club revamped the squad bringing in new players, and new staff only to see off yet another disappointing season.
ISL Record: Matches Played: 20, Wins: 6, Losses: 13, Goals Scored: 22, Goals Conceded: 38, Points: 19.
Looking at the positives, this was East Bengal FC’s best-ever season in terms of their points tally and a record number of wins. Impressive wins against League Shield winners Mumbai City FC and a league double over the Blues are a testament to the club’s potential. East Bengal FC will be looking to start strong in the Super Cup as they square off against Odisha FC on April 9 in Manjeri.
Hyderabad FC
Another impressive ISL season for Manolo Marquez’s men. Hyderabad FC ended their season with the most wins (13) and recorded their highest-ever points (42).
ISL Record: Matches Played: 22, Wins: 13, Losses: 4, Goals Scored: 36, Goals Conceded: 16, Points: 42.
Overall it was a successful season for the Nizams as they showed remarkable character and resilience. Unfortunately, they couldn’t get their hands on the coveted ISL Shield for the second year running against a robust Mumbai City FC this year. The Super Cup will be the perfect setting for Manolo Marquez to regroup, recuperate and go all guns blazing for the title.
Aizawl FC
The club had a decent I-League campaign. They finished seventh on the table.
Matches Played: 22, Wins: 6, Losses: 8, Goals Scored: 27, Goals Against: 29, Points: 22.
Aizawl FC secured their spot in the Super Cup Group Stage by beating TRAU FC and will face Hyderabad FC in their first group stage game.
