Promoted Indian Super League side Punjab FC have announced the signing of defender Nikhil Prabhu until summer 2026.
22 year old Nikhil Prabhu, who was born in Maharashtra, in his youth played for the Mumbai FC Academy and the Football School of India before joining the FC Pune City.
Nikhil Prabhu then went on to play for the reserve side of Hyderabad FC before making the senior squad. He spend time on loan with Odisha FC before joining them for a season and spend the first half of 2023 for FC Goa.
Now Nikhil Prabhu joins Punjab FC and will hope to prove himself in the upcoming ISL.
Nikhil Prabhu said, “I am honoured to be a part of this amazing team which has a good mix of both young and experienced players. I am hoping that I can contribute to the successes of the club come end of the season!”
