I-League side RoundGlass Punjab FC have signed experienced defender Rino Anto ahead of the 2021/22 season.
33 year old Thrissur-born Rino Anto is a product of the famed Tata Football Academy.
His first professional contract was with Mohun Bagan AC in 2008. After two years at the Mariners, Rino Anto played for Salgaocar FC (2010-12), Quartz SC (2012), Bengaluru FC (2013-17), Atletico de Kolkata (2015, on loan), Kerala Blasters (2016, on loan), Kerala Blasters (2017/18), Bengaluru FC (2018-20) and finally for SC East Bengal (2020/21).
Rino Anto has played for the India juniors and the senior national team, and he knows the new RoundGlass Punjab FC head coach Ashley Westwood from his days at Bengaluru FC.
