The All India Football Federation condoles the death of former I-League player Radhakrishnan Dhanarajan, who passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019.
Dhanarajan had played for some of the top clubs like Viva Kerala, the erstwhile East Bengal, and Mohun Bagan. He also played for the Bengal side in the Hero Santosh Trophy.
Operating as a defender, the 39-year-old had played in the top echelons of Indian Football between the years of 2010 to 2015.
Dhanarajan is reported to have collapsed during a local football match in Pernitalmanna, Kerala, after which, he was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
