The All India Football Federation in association with the Western India Football Association (WIFA), Football Association of Gandhinglaj and Indian Super League franchise Mumbai City FC conducted a Grassroots Leaders Course at the Shivraj College in Gandhinglaj from June 10-12, 2017.
30 Grassroots Coaches from Maharashtra participated in the Course which was conducted by AIFF Grassroots Instructor Anjana Turambekar. The Course was engineered to tutor the participants in AIFF’s Grassroots philosophy in tune with FIFA and AFC’s Grassroots philosophy.
Through practical and theory sessions participants understood the importance of redefined Grassroots football and how to develop children football in their region. The participants also learned the significance of organising Baby leagues. On the last day of the Course, the participants conducted a Grassroots festival which was attend by 100 kids.
