A total of 1,700 young footballers turned up for the two-day long trials organized by Indian Super League franchise Delhi Dynamos FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi.
Through the trials the club looks to further build on its elite youth teams; Under-13, U-15 and U-18 as they eye some of the best football talents in the National Capital Region.
The trials were open for kids aged between 11 to 17 and were overlooked by coaches from the Aspire Academy of Qatar along with the elite team coaches of the club.
A total of 29 kids were selected on the final day of the trials and they will now be given a chance in their respective age category teams to further showcase their talent and stake a more regular claim.
“It was great to see such a huge turnout for the trials. Our aim has always been to identify bright and young footballers from Delhi-NCR and give them the right exposure and grooming so that they can be further developed into potential first team players for the club or for the National Team,” said Delhi Dynamos CEO Ashish Shah.
