As part of efforts to give the Continent’s passionate fans the opportunity to be part of the biggest single sporting event in Asia, the 2019 AFC Asian Cup in the UAE’s Local Organising Committee (LOC) have launched an online slogan campaign, with the support of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
Football fans across the globe now have the chance to propose their suggestion for the official slogan for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup in the UAE, with the winner standing a chance to win an all-expenses paid* trip and exclusive access to the opening match at the iconic Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The winner will also receive exclusive 2019 AFC Asian Cup souvenirs and merchandise, to be presented at the opener on January 5, 2019.
To grab this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, participants simply have to log onto the-AFC.com or click here to submit their entries. The contest will be open for entries from October 12 to November 16, 2017.
Slogans should be kept concise with no more than five words and must be submitted in English. Entries will be evaluated based on their relevance to the competition and should aim to capture the passion for the game in the Continent.
The winning entry will be officially announced on January 5, 2018 to coincide with the one-year countdown mark. It will be emblazoned and used in all future collateral and promotion of the 2019 AFC Asian Cup in the UAE.
