JAKO extends partnership with Rot-Weiss Essen until 2023!

A successful partnership continues. JAKO will remain the official supplier to Rot-Weiss Essen in the future. The contract with the traditional Regionalliga club was extended by three years until 2023.

“Rot-Weiss Essen is a special partner, because the atmosphere in the stadium at the Hafenstrasse is unique in the German regional leagues,” said JAKO founder and CEO Rudi Sprügel. “I am therefore delighted that in recent years we have been able to optimally supply the teams at RWE and that we have been able to capture the extraordinary fan culture of this traditional club in special home jerseys. I don’t want to reveal too much yet, but fans will continue to play a decisive role in the shirt design in the coming contract period.”

RWE board member Marcus Uhlig said, “Last but not least, the good partnership is expressed in our home jerseys. The dress of the last two seasons has been one of the most popular among fans in recent decades. Creative RWE fans are in demand for the home jersey for the 2020/21 season. Because together with the association JAKO came up with a special campaign. RWE fans will receive more information shortly. In the coming contract period, too, JAKO will quickly and reliably equip all Rot-Weiss Essen teams with play, training and leisure clothing.
