German kit maker JAKO have launched the new 2017/18 home and away kits of promoted Bundesliga side Hannover 96.
The new jerseys are designed in the classic club colours of the 96s. In their own stadium Hannover will play in a red jersey and away in a green jersey.
Starting from the chest area, a vertical colour gradient from bright to dark sets in each case. On the jersey, the home kit is finally classically dark red, the outback jersey is black. In the neck area, the club motto “Never Alone” is placed. Black pants and neckings are available in the colours white (home) and black (away).
Christoph Rohmer from the JAKO team sponsorship and promotion said, “We have been intensively discussing how we can combine the traditional colours with a contemporary design. The classic gameplay in front of the fans is red, black and white. The club colours black, white and green come out on the league jerseys. With the color scheme, we take up a current design element and create the connection between tradition and modernity.”
Josip Grbavac, Head of Marketing at Hannover 96, said, “The jersey is the centerpiece in the fanshop and the most discreet fan merchandise at all. Both of these new jerseys we wanted to deliberately give an unruffled yet charming design. In our home jersey, the red is retained as a dominant color, the green outfit jersey provides new accents. Through the color gradient, we emphasize the transition to the black pants in both versions.”
