The Kerala Blasters and former ISL champions ATK played out a 1-1 draw which saw two late goals at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi on Friday evening.
After a long mid-season break it was ATK who had the better of the chances in the first half, while Kerala Blasters were the better of the two sides in the second session.
Both the goals in the game came late. ATK went ahead in the 85th minute through a free-kick by new signing Edu Garcia, while only three minutes later Matej Poplatnik’s deflected attempt went in for the equaliser.
Kerala Blasters next travel to the capital to face Delhi Dynamos on January 31, while ATK host Jamshedpur on February 3 in Kolkata.
