The final fixture of round 4 of the Mizoram Premier League – Season 5 saw a goalless stalemate between Zo United FC and Chanmari West FC.
Chanmari West FC started the better of the two looking threatening around their opponent’s box. Wingers Danmawia and Dampuia both spurned good chances to score as well.
As the match wore on, Zo United improved gradually and looked threatening on the counter in the second half.
Zo United began conjuring up chances and in contrast to the start of the game saw their opponents hanging on for a point before the final whistle.
Chanmari West FC’s holding midfielder K. Lalnunzama was awarded the Man of the Match.
Zo United moved out of the bottom with two points from four games, Chanmari West FC moved one spot up to fourth position with four points from four games.
