FC Bayern Munich has announced a new partnership with VARTA AG, the leading German technological provider of battery solutions and energy storage systems in the B2C sector, headquartered in Ellwangen (Baden-Württemberg) as a new Official Partner of the German record champions.
The duration of the partnership is initially set at three years and thus runs until the end of the 2022/23 season, with the main contents being the use of FC Bayern’s digital reach and utilisation of trademark rights. In addition, VARTA AG will become Official Partner of the FC Bayern Kids Club.
FC Bayern Executive Board Member Andreas Jung commented, “VARTA has developed from its base in southern Germany into a national industry leader and globally successful company, so there are unquestionable parallels with FC Bayern. For this and many other reasons, we are committed to the new cooperation and are looking forward to exciting projects together.”
