FC Pune City score ISL-5s first win, a 2-1 over Jamshedpur FC!

Struggling FC Pune City scored their first win of ISL – Season 5 in a 2-1 win over Jamshedpur FC at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex on Wednesday evening.

The match got off to a quick start as winger Diego Carlos put FC Pune City infront after just five minutes, but India striker Sumeet Passi levelled the score for Jamshedpur FC in only the 10th minute.

Thereafter both sides had their chances but keeper Kamaljit Singh and Subrata Pal at both ends thereafter kept their goals clean for the teams going with a 1-1 result into the break.

The game continued in a similar fashion with chances at both ends.

Substitute Marko Stankovic’s corner was headed in by defender Matt Mills in the 86th minute for FC Pune City to score their first win of the campaign, while Jamshedpur FC suffered their first loss.

Jamshedpur FC next host champions Chennaiyin FC on November 25, while FC Pune City would like to continue their winning run on November 27 against high flying NorthEast United FC.
