The Football Business Academy is delighted to officially partner with Sporting Clube de Portugal, one of Portugal’s most iconic football clubs. This agreement will see the global leader in football business education and the Portuguese professional football club collaborate on educational and professional development matters.

This partnership announcement comes at a perfect time for both organizations, as the club’s stadium, ‘José Alvalade’, has become home to our 10th Edition Candidates’ Graduation ceremony and after the club’s active involvement in various activities within our program, which has demonstrated that we are aligned in our mission of preparing the next generation of leaders for a better development and professionalization of the industry.
Born in 1906, predestinated to great achievements, Sporting Clube de Portugal have achieved great accomplishments through the years as the largest national sports power in the country, with about 22 thousand (and counting) titles won, 42 international titles in different sports (football, athletics, hockey on roller skates, handball, judo, futsal, goalball, among others) and 158 Olympic athletes. When it comes to professional football, Sporting Clube de Portugal is one of the 3 most successful clubs in Portugal. National Champions, season 2020/21, runners up, 2021/22, and a regular participant of the greatest European stages.
With this alliance we seek to collaborate on topics of strategic interest that will unlock valuable opportunities for both organizations, ensuring a holistic learning environment for our Master Candidates -future industry professionals- through internships and Student Business Projects; enabling The FBA Candidates to show their worth in the football industry while serving the club in their best interest.
