A second-half comeback saw Sreenidi Deccan FC keep the I-League 2023-24 title race alive, as they beat Gokulam Kerala 2-1 at the EMS Corporation Stadium in Kozhikode, on Sunday, March 17, 2024. The winners trailed 0-1 at half-time.
Sreenidi Deccan climb to second in the I-League table, with 39 points from 19 games, and are eight behind table toppers Mohammedan Sporting with a game in hand. For Gokulam Kerala, however, this defeat ended their hopes of winning their third I-League title; they are now on 36 points from 21 matches.
