2018 FIFA World Cup – Group G: Belgium overcome a fighting Panama!

The 2018 FIFA World Cup continued on Monday, June 18 with Belgium after a goalless first session scored three to overcome newcomers Panama at the Sochi Olympic Stadium.

Belgium were in control from the start, while the newcomers from Central America gave their heart against a superior opponent, who had their chances early on but after missing a few or keeper Penedo and his defence in the way, the match went into the break goalless.

But things changed after the break as winger Dries Martens scored in the 47th minute with a brilliant volley strike and from then on Belgium had more chances to score with Romelu Lukaku scoring twice in the 69th and 75th minute to seal a 3-0 win against a fighting Panama, who gave it their everything.
