The All India Football Federation (AIFF) is inviting Expression of Interest from Clubs for the second edition of the Indian Women’s League. Interested Clubs are hereby requested to submit their interest to participate on their Official letterhead by May 1, 2017.
The final round of the inaugural edition of the Indian Women’s League kicked-off on January 28, 2017, which saw six Clubs vie for the title of IWL Champions which finally went to Eastern Sporting Union after the Manipuri outfit defeated Rising Students Club 3-0. The Indian Women’s League not only gave the rising popularity of Women’s Football in India a platform, but also provided young Players with immense match experience under a competitive environment.
