Indian Super League outfit Delhi Dynamos FC Juniors have booked a place in next season’s DSA organised Delhi A-Division League after securing a second place spot in the B-Division. The team led by coach Rajat Guha suffered just a solitary defeat in the entire campaign.
A team comprising of Delh Dynamos U-18s were one of the more consistent sides in the tournament. Dynamos finished second in Group C, dropping points on just one occasion where they were held to a draw.
The team then qualified to the Super 6s, where 3 wins in a row put them in pole position. But a defeat to South West Delhi meant that the side headed into the final game of the season against Goans SC needing a win.
A dominant performance that saw a goal from Mayank Deswal and brace from Praveen Khatri helped Dynamos to a comfortable 3-0 win against their group rivals on the final day, and secure a place in next year’s A-Division.
