Errea Sports presents new fabric which provides protection against microbes & bacteria!

Fruit of state-of-the-art technologies in the field of advanced polymers and our years of experience in the use of nanotechnologies (starting in 2008 with the first fabric of the line – Textile Energy), Erreà Sport’s research and development team is presenting a new Ti-energy fabric for the 2020 season with even better features and functionality. This new version presented by the company offers protection against microbes and bacteria.

The fabric is made with nanoparticles of zinc oxide permanently encapsulated in the fibres which, thanks to their characteristics, activate an integrated anti-bacterial seal which can minimize the presence of microbes for longer while at the same time constituting a barrier against:

  • droplets
  • liquids
  • bacteria
  • body odour
  • UV rays
  • chafing

The new Ti-energy fabric, the latest result of a research and perfecting process which began 12 years ago, has an essential water repellent property; this means any liquid which comes into contact with the fabric is unable to penetrate and make it wet. In fact, liquid simply glides off the surface in droplets, taking away any impurities and preventing mould, unpleasant odours and stains from developing.

The new Ti-energy fabric, which is also Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified, is 100% recyclable and its care is eco-friendly. Ti-energy gets significantly less dirty than normal fabrics and therefore can be washed using lower doses of detergent and without the need for high temperatures.

This fabric will be used to make sportswear and leisurewear. It will be available to all sports clubs who will also have the opportunity to create customized graphics.

A new proposal from the Italian company, Erreà, as always attentive to the health and well-being of its consumers. The new Ti-energy fabric can even be used to create clothing certifiable as medical equipment.

An important opportunity for greater safety in protecting the health of all sportspeople.
