In an Eastern derby, Jamshedpur FC and ATK played out a 1-1 in ISL-5 at the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur on Sunday evening.
Being the better side in the first half, Jamshedpur FC needed a 35th minute free-kick by Sergio Cidoncha to take the lead, but keeper Arindam Bhattacharya will have to answer questions of conceding the goal.
But ATK hit back just before the break as a Manuel Lanzarote corner went in directly and this time the keeper at the other end, Shubasish Roy Chowdhury was at fault. At the break things were even at 1-1.
The match lost pace in the second session with Tim Cahill having a chance to put Jamshedpur FC ahead again, while Lanzarote and Everton Santos could have given ATK a late win, but things ended even at one-all.
Jamshedpur FC travel next to face NorthEast United FC on October 25 in Guwahati, while ATK host defending champions Chennaiyin FC the very next day.
