Germany coach Joachim Löw earlier today named his 24 player Germany squad for the upcoming high profile friendlies against England at Wembley (London) and against France at the Rheinenergiestadion (Cologne).
Making a comeback after a years absence into the squad are Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gündogan and 2014 FIFA World Cup winning goal hero Mario Götze of Borussia Dortmund.
Left-back Marcel Halstenberg makes his debut in the squad as a replacement for injured Jonas Hector, who is joined on the injury list by FC Schalke 04 midfielder Leon Goretzka and captain Manuel Neuer of Bayern Munich.
